Bringing Nature to the Station

In the hustle of everyday life, what train passengers often need the most is a moment of calm. When DSB set out to launch their six environmental goals for 2030, it became the perfect opportunity to connect DSB’s goals with a benefit passengers could feel in their daily lives.

Research shows that images of nature have a calming effect — they can reduce stress hormones and bring a sense of tranquility. With this insight, we combined the communication of DSB’s sustainability goals with full-wall visuals of forests at central stations across Denmark.

By turning stations into windows to nature, the campaign not only raised awareness of DSB’s environmental ambitions, but also gave passengers a small pause of peace in their busy routines.
